MESOTHELIOMA INFORMATION

Countless veterans are currently suffering from life-threatening illnesses, such as mesothelioma, as a result of exposure to asbestos, a material that was commonly used in hundreds of military applications, products, and ships because of its resistance to fire. Mesothelioma is a deadly form of cancer that can present itself 20-50 years after asbestos exposure, and veterans account for 30% of all cases diagnosed annually.

We’ve created an educational resource to educate individuals on the most common form of the disease, pleural mesothelioma.
